“Comic Pastor” Reverend Billy, street activist and preacher for his own “Church of Stop Shopping,” which has now repositioned itself as the “Life after Shopping” spiritual alternative, has been nominated by the Green party as their official candidate for New York City mayor and main opposition to the not-so-reverend Bloomberg to the sweet melodies of a chorus dressed in all green robes.
